Every week, what reached the Home Depot penny list for the first time, what climbed fastest, which receipts we checked, and where the finds came from. Each report is compiled from our own daily records and frozen when the week ends, so the archive is an honest record of what happened.

This week so far

9 new items reached the penny list for the first time between Sep 28 and Oct 3. Smart home and electronics accounted for the most new finds (2), ahead of hardware and moving (2). The 8 new items with a known price add up to $932.30 at full retail, led by the Cerrowire 800 ft. 10-Gauge Solid SD Bare Copper Grounding Wire at $347.00. The fastest climber was Husky 800 Lumen LED Rechargeable Detachable Tripod Work Light, which went from 23 to 38 community reports over the week. New finds came from 8 states, most of all Florida, New York, Wisconsin. The full report publishes after October 4, 2026.
