Archive

Items with no confirmed penny report in the last six weeks, or that readers say now ring full price. They are kept because penny items resurface when a store finally processes its pull list, and because a SKU's history tells you how long its window usually stays open.

What the archive tells you

Across the 128 archived items with a first and last report date, the median window between the first penny report and the last was 0 days. 110 were only ever reported on a single day, and 12 kept turning up for more than two weeks. The long-running ones are almost always products with deep stock spread across many stores, where each store reaches the end of its markdown on its own schedule. The single-day ones are usually one store's pull that was missed and then caught.

The departments that fill the archive most are lighting and electrical (34), plumbing and bath (25), outdoor, patio and garden (18). If a product from one of those lines shows up on the live list, the archive suggests how quickly you need to move.
