Reading this one

At $179.00 retail, a confirmed scan at a penny is a saving of $178.99, a solid return for the time it takes to scan. A register receipt has been seen for this SKU, which is the strongest confirmation available. It means at least one store sold it at a penny rather than simply showing the price in a system.

It first showed up on Sep 4, 2026 and was last confirmed on Oct 5, 2026, a run of 31 days on the board. Confirmations have come from 4 states, including Texas, Pennsylvania, Alaska, New Mexico. An item confirmed across several states has usually finished its markdown ladder nationally rather than at one store.

On a shelf tag this reads SKU 1005-874-031 and the carton should show model 48-22-8480. The barcode you scan is 0045242524150, which is the number that will appear on your receipt rather than the SKU. Look for it under Milwaukee.

Modular tool storage is merchandised as a display wall, so loose stock often sits above it or on a pallet at the end of the aisle rather than in a numbered slot. The Open in HD app link above will take you straight to this product with your store selected, so you can check the bay before you go.

Confirmed within the last two weeks. Worth scanning whenever you are in the store, but do not build a trip around it unless your state is represented above.
