Reading this one

No current retail price is published for this SKU, which is common once an item has been discontinued or delisted. That absence is itself a signal that it has finished its run. A register receipt has been seen for this SKU, which is the strongest confirmation available. It means at least one store sold it at a penny rather than simply showing the price in a system.

The most recent confirmation was Oct 28, 2026.

On a shelf tag this reads SKU 1008-340-853 and the carton should show model DCS781B. The barcode you scan is 885911739641, which is the number that will appear on your receipt rather than the SKU. Look for it under DEWALT.

Check the item's home bay first, then the overhead above it and the bays either side. Stock sitting where it does not belong is the single most reliable sign that a pull was missed. The Open in HD app link above will take you straight to this product with your store selected, so you can check the bay before you go.

This is a drive-for target if your state is on the list above, and a scan-if-seen everywhere else. Penny windows close when a store works its pull list, so the value of a hot item decays in days, not weeks.
